Context
Community Mental Health Profiles are designed to provide commissioners and other local government and social care staff with the information they need to make informed decisions which lead to the improvement of mental health, and mental health services at a local level.
The data reproduced here comes from a variety of sources. The tables mainly appear in upper tier local authority format because there are difficulties in reassigning data to other geographies. Where data is available at PCT level, it has been reproduced here at PCT level. In some circumstances data is available in alternative geographies which relate specifically to that data type, for example: Adult Service Mapping data is recorded in relation to Local Implementation team. Where the alternative geography alignes to Local Authorities, or can be agreggated up local authority level it is reproduced here. Where there is no such alignment the data has not been included.
