Improving the Health of Asylum Seekers in Northern & Yorkshire: A Report on Service Provision and Needs

This report, published in July 2002, set out to achieve the following in relation to the health of asylum seekers:

• Present a picture of the population of asylum seekers, including basic demographic data;
• Explore what data is collected, by whom, and how it is used;
• Provide a breif overview of current health service provision, identifying gaps and needs, and highlighting examples of good practice.
