HES Seminar

This presentation was given to the HES Seminar at the North East Public Health Observatory on 17 July 2003. It outlines the history and context of regional Hospital Episode Statistics, identifies the restrictions and types of analyses which can be undertaken by the Regional HES service and gives examples of current work in progress within NEPHO and other PHOs.
