Indications of Public Health in the English Regions No 6: Sexual Health

The most comprehensive picture of the sexual health of people in England was published by the Association of Public Health Observatories and the Health Protection Agency on 20 November 2006. Over 70 indicators are included on topics from abortions and births to HIV and sexually transmitted infections. It provides vital intelligence to decision makers and shows the impact that sexual health has on all our lives. It is important that local areas assess the findings of this analysis and decide what actions should follow to improve services and understanding of sexual health.
