Improving Access to Psychological Therapies - Year One Sites Data Review

The report is a detailed analysis of the first year work of 32 of the 35 first wave IAPT implementation sites. The review examined who was receiving treatment, with particular attention to equity issues in relation to gender, age, ethnicity, range of disorders, language and disability coverage of the new services.

It examined the profile of therapies reported, including the nature, pattern and length of interventions and the frequency of multi-step interventions. These are examined in relation to presenting problems, staff grades, medication usage.

Outcomes are explored in detail in relationboth to clinical symptoms, work and social adjustment and benefit and employment status.

The report also examined the detailed performance of the rating measures in use in the context of this client group.

Table are included not only for the patient group as a whole, but also for individual sites (though sites are anonymised).
