Tender: mapping of the social care needs of short term prisoners

The Directorate of Social Care for the North East has commissioned the North East Public Health Observatory (NEPHO) to review and map the social care needs of short term prisoners (those serving less than 12 months) in the North East, their take up of support services on release, and re-settlement in the community. The review will identify unmet need and gaps in service provision, and the impact this has on rehabilitation in the community. It will also identify the implications for commissioning and service re-design.

As part of this project NEPHO is tendering for part of this work to be undertaken by another organisation in the North East.
